This amazing ARTE documentary series observes how Australian fauna adapts to the ever-changing harsh living conditions on this continent. 

Whether in the swamps along Australia's coast, the forests of Tasmania, or the deserts in the continent's heart, animals everywhere have perfectly adapted to their environment. But the competition is fierce. From giant monitors targeting emu nests to kangaroos that don’t hesitate to confront their own kind in the fight for water. To survive here, one must be either strong or inventive.
