October was a very busy month. Our support team worked hard ironing out issues and finding new ways to make matching and chat smoother. We must thank our earliest supporters, who not only registered but also sent feedback about their experience — it was genuinely helpful and well received. For example, we've just added a new criterion to your position requirements, where you can tell us the preferred age of your au pair.
In these early stages of our launch we kept the platform free for both au pairs and host families, and those host families also received a month's free membership as a thank-you for being part of our community from the start.
Every day we receive more profile registrations from au pairs ready to join a host family. As a new platform, we're working hard to make sure we have plenty of au pair profiles to meet demand and give everyone a diverse range of options. Our goal is a platform focused on genuine Australian cultural exchange. That's why only real host families and au pairs who can legally work in Australia can access our community. It means we won't instantly have thousands of au pairs online — but the ones we do have are genuine, ready to work and hold the right visa.
This month we're focusing on growing our numbers and continuing to perfect the matching process for everyone.
